Hello,
I have a big problem with my PC because when I turn it on, the welcome page appears, normal, but when I try to go online or on MSN or anywhere, the mouse doesn't move anymore and everything is frozen. I can't even turn it off. Please explain to me why. Thank you.

Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 7.0

Hi,

try Fn + F7

You probably locked the touchpad.

If that doesn't work, check if all the drivers are installed correctly.

she's talking about a desktop PC, not a laptop. I don't think she has a touchpad.

try pressing the F7 key
(it activates and deactivates the touchpad on some Acer laptops)

    I also have the same problem on my laptop. When I try to move the mouse pointer using the rectangle located at the bottom of my laptop, the pointer does not move and I have an Acer eMachines G525.
