Hello,
I was using IGN Rando on Windows XP SP3 without any issues.
On Windows 7, I encountered the following problem (which already existed on Vista, according to this forum):
The software installs correctly, but the launch program doesn't work well: sometimes it displays the map of France and departments, after a very long time, and sometimes it doesn't display this map, the area remains blank.
Solution that works for me:
Right-click on the IGN Rando launch shortcut + Properties
Compatibility tab – Check Disable visual themes
If this can help you...

Ok, thanks, it works for me too, but I can no longer find the option to choose the printer to print the routes, and I can no longer forward by email either???
Does anyone have a solution?
Thank you very much. -

To access IGN Rando with Windows 7 and also possibly with 8
1°/ Click on the desktop shortcut to open the IGN Rando window
this one appears empty (white)
2° / Right-click in the upper left corner on IGN Rando
3°/ In the dropdown menu that appears, left-click on (About WayLauncher)
4°/ In the window that opens, double left-click on OK (If the map does not display, repeat as many times as necessary starting from operation 3°/)
5°/ Once the map is displayed, as usual, click on the installed region and it works like before.
To print, simply capture, save as, and perform this operation from any photo software.
For sending, I haven't tested yet.
