Hello, how can I erase an update on my PS3 because my console bugs every hour and I would like to reset it or revert to an earlier update? Is this possible? I've heard that updates are not stored on the hard drive and that formatting does not help, and aside from the update, I don't see what else could be causing my console to crash after an hour and take an hour to be able to read any games again. Thank you.
Configuration: Windows Vista Firefox 3.0.15

You can, however, try to get the old version from someone who hasn't updated, but don't count too much on your warranty^^
Thank you for your information. Do you think it could come from my memory and if I clean it, would it prevent these bugs, or are the symptoms coming from the update? I remind you that it's a 40-gig pack from 2008, and it crashes between 10 and 60 minutes of gameplay, and I have to wait an hour before it can run the games again, but unfortunately only for a maximum of 1 hour. It's hell.
I have the same kind of problems as you do, I don't think it's your lens that's the issue, but as mentioned earlier, for me some games don't support the PS3 updates.
For example:
PES 2008 (the problems you mentioned)
GTA 4 (I noticed that people who had serious issues had the 40 gig version)
Assassin's Creed (for my part, the game worked perfectly well, but after finishing the story it started to lag and freeze since then I installed the update 3.15 and had fewer problems, no more severe bugs but some annoying little slowdowns...
PS: I downloaded the patch and it didn't change much...
Assassin's Creed 2: same as the first one, perfectly smooth game with no bugs except for one, a tree in the villa caused a strange bug so seeing that I wanted to restart the game to see if it happened again and then I started experiencing slowdowns and elements of the environment not appearing immediately...
PS: I have the 40 gig version
So in the end either the 40 & 60 gig versions struggle to handle games that display many elements on the screen
or it's the updates...
