PS3 update 4.11 stuck at 99%

Hi everyone,
I have a huge problem with my PS3, let me explain:
I started the 4.11 update, but it gets stuck at 99%, I tried recovery mode but it keeps restarting the update in a loop and gets stuck at 1% from the end, it's so frustrating!!!!!!

Is there anyone who knows what to do to make it work again????????? Please!!!!!!!!!!

    do it on your computer, you put the update on a USB, connect it to your PS3 and ;)

      @limp_sniper do you want to put the PS3 update on a USB stick and then put it on your PS3?
      go to the PlayStation website you can download the PS3 update

    By changing the hard drive and putting the OS on a USB stick (port 2), everything works again.

    For my part, I formatted deeply with software found on the net. Windows doesn't format enough for your console to recognize the hard drive. It must have damaged tracks.

      Hello everyone, I had this problem and I solved it by downloading the update, etc. There are tutorials on how to put it in a folder. Anyway, as soon as the USB drive is connected to your PS3 (the USB drive with the update), plug it into the right port, activate safe mode, quickly select the 5th option, formatting is mandatory or trash it, then install the update and that saves you 80€ | ENJOY!
