Hello,
I would like to know what motherboard format is compatible with my PC case to avoid having to buy a new one, but I don't know how to recognize the compatible format with it. Thank you for your help :)
Configuration: Windows 7 Firefox 3.5.5

What size is your case? If you don't know, check your case for sale online on websites like Materiel.net or rueducommerce.fr, and they will tell you what size it is. After that, it all depends on your motherboard.

I don't know the name or type of motherboard inside this one. It's an Acer case and I doubt it is sold ;)

Hello

tell us the name of your case or PC reference, because you have thousands of Acer?

and the sizes in cm are referenced like this (micro ATX and ATX)

The model is an Acer Aspire T310, I'm measuring it now.

The motherboard measures about 23.5 or 24 cm and in height, it is a little less than 25 cm, I believe.

Your motherboard is a micro ATX, at least that's what I found online..

You can check if it's this motherboard by opening the case.

Your case is probably too small for an ATX motherboard because generally, if they put a micro ATX motherboard, they also provide a small case.

I don't know more than that.

it's not this one and the color is not the same and it seems to me that the processor is an Intel Celeron D it's quite old. otherwise it's not marked on the motherboard I'm looking but can't find anything

On this link you have the dimensions of the formats in mm.

According to your link, it's a micro ATX:
micro-ATX: The microATX format is an evolution of the ATX format, retaining its main advantages while offering a smaller size (244x244 mm) at a reduced cost. The micro-ATX format features one AGP connector and three PCI connectors.

I have one AGP port and three PCI slots, and it measures almost 250 mm x 250 mm. It must surely be that.

So it's a micro ATX?

microATX 244 mm x 244 mm AGP / 3 PCI

Since it's a store case, even if an ATX motherboard would fit (measuring to be sure), there would probably be an issue with the mounting holes not being in the right place.

If you buy a micro ATX motherboard, it will fit without any issues.

I still recommend buying a new case that will be better than store cases; you can find good ones for 50 euros.

Yes, but it's only temporary like this so I can get better equipment. In the meantime, it's a micro ATX that I'm considering getting, so no worries ;)
