Hello,
I have created a document with photos and texts in color and I would like to convert it to grayscale without having to change each color one by one or using Photoshop for the photos. However, I need to keep the document in .doc format. Is there a solution?
THANK YOU IN ADVANCE FOR YOUR HELP
I have created a document with photos and texts in color and I would like to convert it to grayscale without having to change each color one by one or using Photoshop for the photos. However, I need to keep the document in .doc format. Is there a solution?

Configuration: Windows XP Firefox 3.5.3
so I have the same question, but I don't understand: double click on the image, etc...
In fact, I have color photos taken with my digital camera in a file. I inserted them into a document word by reducing their size. This document needs to be sent to a printer with black and white photos.
So I double-click on the photo (open) from my file but no dialog box appears; therefore, I don't see anywhere "image format" and thus no "image tab."
I also double-clicked on the photos in my Word document; similarly, nothing happens.
I tried downloading Photoshop, I downloaded some stuff but I don't understand anything!!
Help.
Thank you.
Everything is happening in the Word document. You create your .doc file, insert your photos. Then double-click on the image. If that doesn’t work, right-click/format the image. Third solution: select the image (just left-click on it), click on Format (between Insert and Tools in Word 2003) and Format Picture...
Good luck

However, since you have to explain everything to me (I'm not young!), for the "color dropdown list" I was looking for (!) I call it a "color box" where it says "automatic," and I found out that you have to click on the arrow to see 4 options and then click on "Grayscale" and then OK, and there you have it: miracle. If we want to revert the photo to color, we reselect "automatic."
Have a great day.
