Packard Bell CD/DVD Drive Issue

Hello,
I have a Packard Bell Easynote SJ82 laptop. While I was burning my recovery DVDs, the process was interrupted and the computer told me that the burning had failed.
Since then, my CD/DVD drive can’t read any CDs/DVDs. I checked, and the computer says that the device is working properly.
Does anyone have any idea what to do? Thank you in advance

    what the PC says doesn't mean anything except that the drivers are properly installed

    I think it's the drive itself that has a defect

    I think it needs to be replaced

      Mon lecteur ne lit plus les CD et DVD, comment faire pour réinstaller les pilotes ? Merci de répondre.
