How to unlock a PDF file Closed

Hello,

I created several PDF files that I locked with a password. And today I want to modify these documents but I can't find the application that allows me to unlock my files.

Can anyone help me?? Thanks in advanceConfiguration: Windows Vista Internet Explorer 7.0

When you click on your document, a message asks you whether to read it or to enter your password to know if you can modify it! Yes or no.

I have already looked in the properties of my document but could not find it..

if it's your document! you have its password,
and only with the password can you modify your document,
and no one else can change anything without the password.
and if you receive a protected document you can only read the document and you can't change anything in it.

with appropriate software for it.
You click on your file and at the prompt "open with" you give (click on) the program that opens the PDF file.

I've had the same issue for ages and I still haven't found a solution either. I password-protect my PDFs out of habit and necessity, but they are protected, and now I need to remove the protection in order to edit them, just like pitchoune. If anyone knows the answer, please avoid random suggestions like "well normally you just open and choose protection in the file menu" because the file menu doesn't include that!
So if anyone has the solution to unlock a PDF in Adobe Reader, while knowing the password, I would love to read it.
