Epson sx400 printer startup issue

Hello,
I have a problem with my Epson sx400 printer. When I turn it on, the message appears: "Printer error. Please turn off the printer and then turn it back on. Refer to the documentation."
I would appreciate your advice, especially since I use this printer for my work.
Configuration: Windows XP Firefox 3.5.3

    Hi, I'm experiencing the same issue.

    Hi, I got this message, and it turns out that a tiny ridiculous piece of paper was stuck at the print head (I had to move it manually). As a result, it wouldn't move anymore and therefore wouldn't do anything at all (not even scan).
