No sound in Pinnacle preview

Hello,
I have a sound problem with Pinnacle Studio 11, and I can't find a solution.
I have completely uninstalled and reinstalled Studio 11 + bonus. Direct X update is OK. Smartsound is in place.
The sound does not play in the preview, even though it is present in the original AVI file and is also graphically represented in Studio 11.
After test editing, the sound still works on the AVI file.
It's unfortunate not to be able to hear what is said during the editing process.
A few weeks ago, everything was fine.
This might be due to a sound setting on the PC or Studio 11 itself? But I can't find anything unusual in the options; all other multimedia software works normally.
The volume is max everywhere.

Could it be a conflict with KX manager? Is that possible?
I have, however, disabled it in the taskbar.
