Hi everyone,
I would need your help, please. Suddenly, the sound from the speakers stopped working. However, it works through the headset that is plugged in on the front.
When I right-click on the "volume" icon and go to "playback devices," the "speakers" show as "not connected" with a small red arrow pointing down on the speaker icon.
In "Device Manager," "Audio controllers...," "Realtek High Definition Audio" shows as "This device is working properly." I have searched for other drivers but found nothing!
I uninstalled it and restarted my PC; it looked for the driver but it's still the same.
Do you have a solution, something I might not have thought of? Thanks in advance ;)

I have exactly the same problem, and almost all my HP files are used, so it's not a wiring issue. It's worth noting that this problem already happened to me, and in fact, the sound was "fickle"; sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, without really knowing where the bug came from. But right now it doesn't work…
