You're welcome, I've kept the same BIOS for 6 years with my old PC despite possible updates. As long as it works, TOUCH NOTHING!!!

Good night.

Try a live Linux CD to test the BIOS. You can remove the BIOS battery and put it back or replace it to maybe perform a 'reset'.

in a topic titled:
motherboard beeping

my problem is that when I turn on my PC
I hear a short beep as usual, but since the BIOS update, I have 2 extra beeps separated from the first one by 2 or 3 seconds
what do you think

Well, there might be an issue with a badly flashed BIOS; did you do it? And then what does that have to do with the jumper that is very likely on the motherboard?

Strange this BIOS problem between Phoenix and Award... Normally, there are three types of BIOS: AMI, Award, and Phoenix. But you’re not answering me, how did you hear about that famous jumper J4???

However, I really wouldn't advise you to flash your BIOS again... why did you do it?

In a topic titled:
motherboard that beeps

I updated it, is there a solution to revert to the previous version?

One should only flash a BIOS in case of a problem, and going back if you do it seems risky to me...

that will teach me to do things I don't know much about
anyway, thank you for your help
