You're welcome, I've kept the same BIOS for 6 years with my old PC despite possible updates. As long as it works, TOUCH NOTHING!!!
Good night.
Good night.
Try a live Linux CD to test the BIOS. You can remove the BIOS battery and put it back or replace it to maybe perform a 'reset'.
I don't even know what it is!!
That's why I'm asking

Well, there might be an issue with a badly flashed BIOS; did you do it? And then what does that have to do with the jumper that is very likely on the motherboard?
the report I don't really know if there is one that's why I'm asking what it is
do you have a link to update the bios once again
by the way, my bios distributor is phoenix but of award type is that normal

Strange this BIOS problem between Phoenix and Award... Normally, there are three types of BIOS: AMI, Award, and Phoenix. But you’re not answering me, how did you hear about that famous jumper J4???
However, I really wouldn't advise you to flash your BIOS again... why did you do it?

In a topic titled:
motherboard that beeps
I updated it, is there a solution to revert to the previous version?
