Connecting a Livebox to an amplifier

Hello,
I've had a Yamaha RXV450 amplifier since 2004 and I just acquired a Livebox that I can connect to the amplifier. But the problem is, there are so many connections on the back of this amplifier and different cable options that I'm completely lost.
If anyone has an idea of what cable to use and especially where on the amplifier I should connect the Livebox, I thank you in advance.
Looking forward to hearing from you.

Well, that's going to be tough. Are you sure you can connect an amplifier to the Livebox? I don't believe so.
And do you have an audio output on the box?
    Optical
    RCA
    COAXIAL

Here's the back of your amplifier—nothing too complicated, you just need to check with your box.

    Hello,

I have exactly the same problem but despite your advice, it doesn't work. I have an HDMI cable between the TV decoder and my TV. I'm using a double RCA (white + red) from my amplifier to the Orange TV decoder, but nothing happens.
Maybe the HDMI is messing everything up?

    Hello,
Thank you for your response and for the back view of the amplifier.
I actually have a digital audio output (black with the SPDIF label) and an analog audio output (1 white and 1 red) on the decoder, and the decoder description indicates that I can connect a speaker or home theater to both outputs.
So, should I connect to the black (digital) one or the other two (analog)?
And depending on which one I use, where should I plug them into the amplifier?
I believe it's possible to enjoy the TV sound through my home theater speakers.
Thank you again for your clarifications.

aaaaa, it's not the Livebox, it's an Orange TV decoder! It's different. In that case, it's pretty simple: you take a double RCA cable (red and white, male), plug one end into the Orange TV, and on your amplifier plug it into the input you want, TV, AUX, whatever you want! (it's labeled on the back of the amplifier regarding the connections, inputs outputs...) and then you set the function to the one where you connected your TV decoder; if you plugged it into TV, you set the function to TV on your amplifier... etc..
    I hope this helps you

    Hello,

I reconnected my wires and your advice was very helpful.
From now on, the home theater speakers output the sound from the TV.
    It's great!!!
Thank you for your many tips.
