Bonjour,
J'ai un modem de marque Linkstar protegé par un mot de passe.
Je ne parviens pas à reseter ce mot de passe!
Quelle est la procedure à suivre pour reseter ce mot de passe?

qui peut me traduire ceci:
"if you have forgotten your password for full Telnet Access, please use the following sequence and procedure to unlock the system. If your unit is under a lease agreement you may not be authorised to do this, doesn’t apply to owned devices. Make one of these cables, and open the RCST. Inside there is a serial connector to which you can connect using this cable decribed below.
Linkstar Serial Cable
Only the middle 4 pins are used (use a 4 pin connector phone plug) Looking at the phone plug with the clip facing away from you.
pin 1 goes to pin 5 on the serial connector
pin 2 goes to pin 2 on the serial connector
pin 3 goes to pin 3 on the serial connector
pin 4 not used
some loopbacks on the serial connector
7 and 8 are looped
1 and 4 are looped
6 and 4 are looped
1- connect to HUB and ask them to reset your password
2- make open linkstar case and make a cable as Viasat and connect
to serial port of your computer ,and use of hyperterimal software on
windows ,go the following steps
1- Turn on your linkstar
2- wait untill your terminal pass boos producers
3- when you reached to CLI type the following commands.
4- Type "ZAP " press enter
5- Type "Boot" press enter
6- Now your password has been reseted.
you can use the NULL password to login as root
and use the command:
"passwd -u root -p newpassword "
to reset root password"
