Good evening Lorena,
To solve your problem, simply go to the manufacturer's website to download and install the appropriate drivers for your machine, knowing that the drivers for XP are available by following this link:
https://www.emachines.com/selection/
That's it, if you encounter any issues don't hesitate to ask for our help!
Good luck and take care!

For your information, to my knowledge, manufacturers do not provide restoration CDs or DVDs... You need to contact technical support so they can send them to you; some manufacturers will send them for free, while others will charge you, but oh well...
I don't understand, the hardware drivers are more than enough to run your computer...
Otherwise, there is one last solution: restore the computer using the hidden partition, a space on the hard drive that allows you to reset your computer to factory settings. To do this, you need to perform the following key combinations just after the Acer brand logo, before the Windows boot and loading screen... This combination, if I remember correctly, on Acer laptops is either Alt+F10 or Alt+F11; at this moment, you should definitely not hesitate to press repeatedly while keeping a finger pressed on the Alt key...
There you go, hoping this will help solve your problem. Good luck, Lorena!

But the problem is that I no longer have that on my PC because it crashed. I had to install XP Pro instead of Vista, but since then the internet is acting up, I can't get the sound back, and it has become very slow.
Well, I can't find the file "emachines" on my PC, nor "emachines eRecovery management" :( Can someone help me please?
Thanks in advance!
I don't have the "Emachines" file
Could you please tell me what to do,
thank you in advance
