How to completely reset your PC

Hello everyone
I would like to know how to reset my PC to factory settings, meaning back to when I bought it, because right now I have a lot of problems. I will reinstall everything myself, no problem, so if someone knows please let me know. Thank you, see you later.
Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 6.0

    For your reset:
    • Make backups of your documents (photos, personal folders, music...)
    • Restart your computer.
    • At startup, tap F11 to boot into your ESIA partition (recovery). On other brands, it might be F9, F10, or F12
    • Follow the instructions (pretty simple)


    There you go, your computer is restored to the state it was in on the day of purchase =)

      Hi,

      For an Asus Windows 7 as well... however, I'm not sure if it's the F11 key.
      Try with F9, F10, F11, and F12.

      Yes, but for Asus netbooks, you also need to press F9 and then don't forget to press enter :)

      for XP Pro? I want to reset it because I don't have the password for my administrator and I tried to format it by pressing F11, but I want to wipe it completely so I won't have it anymore. Is that possible?

    You have one option left, but I don't know if it works on HP PCs...

    !! Start by backing up your documents (photos/music...) !!

    Start your PC and tap F11 (F10 or F9) during startup.
    The factory reset utility should launch and restore your PC to its original state.

    If that doesn't work, you'll need to borrow an authentic Windows XP CD (not an OEM manufacturer one) of the same version as your PC to proceed with the reinstallation.
