Hello, I would like to download houses for my Sims 2 but I'm having trouble... I can download clothes, hairstyles, and objects, but houses are the only thing I can't! Well, thanks in advance

Download the house of your choice by clicking on its name or on the download link.
2)
Unzip the house on your Windows desktop. This operation can be done with WinZip, or without any additional program if you have Windows XP.
3)
Double-click on the ".sims2pack" file: the house will install automatically!
4)
Go to the game's real estate catalog: the house you chose to download will appear!

Hello,   It's simple ..  Alicia said so =)  -If you want, I can explain it to you clearly to understand:   1- Download a house example on Google: Type Sims 2: Download houses.   2- Open the house folder. Unzip the house file and click on ".sims2pack" and the installation will happen automatically! :)  3 - Go to the game’s Real Estate catalog: And search for the house. And there you go, just buy it and furnish it (unless the furnishing is included)..   There you go, now you live in a house you like, your car, your flowers..... Finally, your house for you! I downloaded the houses, extracted them, and installed them directly (sims2pack file)
But when I go to the lot, I click on the house to place it on a free lot..... "Fatal Error" !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can download with Winzip, but when I click on it, it says that I can't install it because I don't have the additional disc... Because I need another Sims than number 2????

I don’t know where you downloaded your house from, but you always need to read the required expansion packs to install a house. Usually, all house creators warn you either through icons corresponding to the game or by naming them.
In these cases, you need to purchase the expansion packs to be able to use it, or you should only download houses that match your game. Let me explain: if you have the base game (The Sims 2) + University (the 1st expansion pack), you can't download a house that requires Apartment Life (the last one released) or The Sims 2 Seasons if you don't own them.
No, you don’t have to have the complete game, but it’s 100% better because you have plenty of new options, and you can download whatever you want without worrying about compatibility issues.
