Hello,
I had a power incident with my PC that disrupted Outlook Express (every time I open it, it shows me the emails from the 18th and refuses to send me the ones that arrived later).
I'm considering restoring my system to a previous restore point that was created by my computer.
However, when I try to use the system restore assistant, I am only offered 2 choices:
1) restore to an earlier time
2) create a restore point.
How can I access and choose a previous restore date for the system, since this option is not in this utility? Is it in another one, elsewhere?
Thank you.
I have Windows XP.

Good evening, for 15 hours I haven't been able to download torrents, I tried to restore the system to an earlier date but the restoration is incomplete no matter which dates I use... what should I do?
Hi everyone. I would like to know if by restoring the system to the default factory settings, I will lose what's on my D drive. Best regards...
Hello
Look here -> Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Services to see if the restore service is set to automatic; if not, click on the line then restart the service
You can also check in the control panel add/remove programs to add or remove Windows components if Outlook is checked
In either case, I think your emails are messed up and a new installation of Outlook would be best
Have a good day @+

Thank you for replying to me.
I did not create a restore point myself, which is why I will have to revert to the last one created automatically.
Best regards.

Hello,
I performed a system restore to a date before my problem, and yet the issue hasn't been resolved.
Weird!
It's the email forwarding in Outlook Express that's not working: The emails from the 18th keep multiplying every time I open it, and all emails with later dates stop transmitting.
So, restoring the system to an earlier date wasn't the solution!
I'll send another message that better defines this problem.
Thank you

Hi, I read your problem and the best thing is to copy your important documents to an external hard drive, then open the program bar and click on WINDOWS HOME__HELP AND SUPPORT__REINSTALL FACTORY SETTINGS. Normally, you will have your computer like when you bought it, but you will have lost all your files. That's why it's very important to copy them to another medium beforehand.
