Hello *

My Wi-Fi card has simply disappeared from the device manager after a system restore. I can no longer connect to any network since I no longer have a Wi-Fi card.

How can I get it back?

I should mention that I am on another computer, of course. Could someone help me knowing that I don't have Internet on my other computer since my Wi-Fi card (Realtek Wireless LAN) has disappeared.

Thanks in advance anyway!

    hello musicox

    what I would do
    - take apart the WiFi card
    - start the PC, then shut it down
    - reassemble the card, then restart the PC

    see you

    Hi old wobbly bison

    Whoa, that's not within my skill set ^^
    I'm looking for a "normal" solution to track down this Wi-Fi card in the device manager.
    Anyway, thanks for your reply.

    Hello,

    Windows + R
    Type --> devmgmt.msc and OK.

    Do you have a section --> other devices?
    If yes, what is the problematic device?

    What do you have in network adapters?

    Give the hardware identification number of the wireless card or network controller
    Look at this --> Find the identification number of a device
    Post the number in your next message.

    Brand and model number of the PC?

    Windows 7, 8, 10, or 11?
    32 or 64 bits?

    Windows 10 64 bits
    Toshiba Satellite

    In the network adapter, I have the Realtek family card, 1 Microsoft card, and 8 WAN Miniport but no Realtek wireless Wi-Fi card.
    I even checked for hidden items but found nothing, no wireless card.
    There must be a way to find it somewhere, right?
    Thank you for your help.
    I should mention that I don't have an Ethernet cable to be able to work from my Toshiba computer, so no internet.

    No, I don't have an "other devices" section in the device manager.

    Possibly one of these drivers:

    --> Broadcom

    --> Realtek

    --> Intel

      Kaneagle yes it's Realtek but since I don't have internet on my Toshiba I can't download it (I don't have an ethernet cable). So I will buy one and try to see what happens once it's downloaded on my Toshiba.

      Later!
