Hello,
Right away, all my photo files open by default with Photoshop, but I would like them to open by default with Preview. I can do this of course by opening the folders, then selecting all the photos, then in the applications, choosing "Preview by default." But these operations are lengthy, especially since I have files that sometimes contain a hundred photos in RAW format.
Could someone help me by telling me how to automatically replace the default opening of Photoshop with Preview? Thank you in advance for the advice.
Best regards
YB

Good evening,
You click on one of the files that always opens with Photoshop, with a right-click (or ctrl-click) and choose "Always Open With" to then select Preview.
Another method:
after selecting such a file, you press "Command-I" to get the information. In the info window, you replace "Open With Photoshop" with "Preview," then click below on "Change All."
You confirm in the following window.
That's it.
Best regards

Your advice might have worked, but as I stated in my initial request, some of my files contain more than 100 photos, and therefore, doing as you suggest forces me to modify each photo separately.
Thank you nonetheless.

I would like to insist in the same way as Sanspseudo: in the information window of the single selected file, you choose the application that suits you then you click the "Change All" button. This means that all files of the same type will open with your preferred application.
Best regards.
No, certainly not. On the contrary, the method I am indicating is designed to avoid that.
So I repeat the method:
after selecting such a file, you press "Command-I" to get the info. In the info window, you replace "Open with Photoshop" with "Preview," then you click below on "Change All."
You confirm in the following window.
