Hello,
I would like to know if it was really possible to score from a free kick in PES 2009 because I have been trying for months without success as the goalkeeper is always in the path of the ball, whether I choose the wall side or the goalkeeper side.
Do you know of any technique to score from a set piece?

I also highly recommend the free kick under the wall, it's very effective!
When taking a free kick (17m to 25m at most), aim for the side opposite the goalkeeper (logical, you might say), hold down the "down" direction, and use the "long pass" button instead of the "shoot" button, apply power almost to the max without reaching it, and you'll see a super fast and powerful shot go under the wall that jumps! Of course, you won't succeed every time, but know that it's very effective and that it often goes in! There's no need to use powerhouses for free kicks with this technique! Average shooters do the job, and I would even say that champions in precision or long pass speed would perform better!
It's up to you!
Have fun and enjoy the game! -
I have a technique that's pretty close to the goal, it's from 24 m
If you're on the left side, shoot with a left-handed player and on the right a right-handed player
You see, there's the wall every time, shoot from the wall side between the first player on the outer side of the wall and put a bit of spin on it, and you'll succeed, that's how I do it. -
HI
first you need to choose your team and your shooter, because in PES 2009 there are several styles of free kick takers here is some information
you can have 2 shooters in the same team, one for close range shots and another shooter for long-range free kicks.
There are three key abilities in free kick taking:
Free kick accuracy, Shot power, and Curve.
The latter attribute is of paramount importance
Basically, the Curve skill determines how well a player can bend their shot: generally, right-footed players can only curve the ball's trajectory to the left, and left-footed players to the right; exceptions to the rule include certain players like Roberto Carlos who have the ability to bend their shots in both directions. What very few people know, however, is that the Curve stat also measures players' ability to make the ball dip once it has gone over the wall, an essential quality for accurately aiming close free kicks...

see you+++ and happy training lol -
A ok, but instead of talking about "square," could you tell me which command that corresponds to, as I'm playing on PC with a controller that is different from the PlayStation one.
For the technical moves, I think I know most of them. -
Hello and thanks to everyone. Right now I'm working on the outside of the foot in PES 2010, here's a nice one made by me: http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xba7ut_but-sur-coup-franc-exterieur-du-pie_videogames

For me, when I take a free kick, I shoot over the wall with my left foot, I curl it and it goes in ^^ By the way, I probably made some spelling mistakes, I'm 14 years old ^^

Ok thank you very much, I managed to score yesterday!

You're welcome, but I have another one, but this one only works 1 out of 10 times. I marked it from 30m with when you shoot you press square + up arrow, and when the bar lights up, triangle.
Hum, do you know about skill moves? -

Hey but I’m 14 too and I pay attention not to make mistakes.

personal tip for taking free kicks in PES 2009:
for free kicks from about 18 to 20 meters;
hold R2, aim for the spot in the goal you want to shoot at in front of the player (the curl should be from top to bottom, not from side to side, so aim directly in front of the player)
still holding R2, shoot while also keeping the directional arrow pointed down EVEN AFTER THE SHOT SO THAT THE BALL DROPS AFTER THE WALL, but without going past the small notch on the power bar, at about 90%
FOR ME, IT GOES IN 90% OF THE TIME
it's just a matter of control if you follow the method -
I just beat my personal record, which is 37 meters now (lucky shot because I couldn't do it again).

Merci.

You take the best shooter and you try to lob the wall, train yourself, do training, you must take Henry and do.

Try to shoot by lobbing the wall, fill the gauge to the maximum with a square and press down, aim at the scope, and if it's well placed, shoot!
