Thunderbird: Configuration Editor Solved

Hello,

Does any of you have a link regarding the use of the configuration editor in Mozilla Thunderbird?
Since I use it as part of my work, I would like to push the settings a bit further, particularly concerning indexing for example.

Version used: 2.0.0.21

Despite the link, I can't tell if it's possible to modify Thunderbird's indexing settings. I would like it to index only the subject, recipient, and sender, rather than the contents of the messages as it does now.
Is this possible?

What do you mean by indexing? The order in which messages are displayed? I don't think it indexes based on content.

No, actually what I would like is:
By default, if I'm not mistaken, Thunderbird "scans" all emails to facilitate searching, what I would like is for it to no longer scan the content of messages but only: subjects, senders, and recipients.

Do you know if this is possible? I thought I would find this in the configuration editor but I didn't find anything.

It surprises me. To my knowledge, TB only scans messages when searching for something.

Is indexing only used to display the list of emails and to apply sorting on it?

Argh, well, I wanted to lighten the indexing, so that's not going to be possible!
I'll check tomorrow to see if I can find confirmation of that.
