Hello,
I am looking to sign documents, but Open Office is asking me for a certificate, and I don't know what it is.
I would like to know how I can sign a digital document with a real signature and not just with my name.
Thanks to everyone who can help!

If I understood correctly, you want to place your signature on a document without doing it physically...
You just need to sign a small piece of paper about 6 x 3 cm, scan it to create a jpeg file.
In Open Office, do: Insert, image, from a file and choose your signature file.
You can then move this signature around the document to place it in the right spot and resize it if it’s too large.
Have a good day.
