Refrigerator spacer

Hello,
I just had a brand-new fridge delivered, they installed it, started it up... In a plastic bag there are two spacers. The manual says they must be placed behind the fridge at the designated positions. The problem is that I can’t find any place where they would fit. My question is: is it important, my boyfriend is coming home tonight, he can look at it and what are they for... I don’t want to break the fridge... Thank you for your help

    This kind of thing can be mounted on the top or bottom of the fridge to prevent it from leaning against a wall. Indeed, you should always leave a little space so that air can circulate freely.
