Hello,
since yesterday my Logicom Riva 250 Classic phone keeps flashing "searching". I turned it off and unplugged everything, but nothing works; it still says "searching". So when someone calls me, I am unavailable even though my line is working. Please help me, thank you.
Configuration: Windows Vista Internet Explorer 7.0

    At LOGICOM, they are very reluctant to respond... so here's how to solve this problem for which I haven't read the solution on the forums:

    After many futile attempts... on my LOGICOM ILOA 3500 phone

    LINKING A HANDSET WITH A BASE

    Access to this function requires knowledge of the base's PIN code (0000 by
    default).
    A base can register up to 6 handsets.
    To register a handset to a base, follow these steps:
    On the base:
    * Press and hold the bottom button on the base (large dot + 3 small curves) for 10 seconds
    * The base is in pairing mode for 3 minutes, now follow the steps to be done on the handset.
    On the handset to be registered:
    * Press the OK button at the top left of the handset
    * “JOURNAL” appears on the screen
    * Use the large button under the screen that allows you to scroll up and down to select “ASSOCIATION”
    * Press the OK button
    * Use the large button under the screen that allows you to scroll up and down to select the base to which the handset should be registered.
    * Press the OK button
    (not necessary here as it is the corresponding base for the handset, so direct to the next step)
    * “PIN ? ----” appears on the screen.
    * Use the alphanumeric keypad to enter the PIN code of the base (0000 by
    default) on which this handset will be registered
    * Press the OK button
    * “CHERCHE” appears on the screen.
    * A beep informs you that the handset has been registered to the base.
    8- RESET

    If necessary, reset to default if you make a mistake.

    Hello! No need to stress about it any further!!!

      For me, it worked really well. When you press the button on the base, you should no longer hear the beep it emits on the second handset.

      Same Riva 850, I've tried everything: pairing the base, registering the base... it's clear that the handset is still not recognized by the base. I've also changed the batteries.

      So actually, what they don't specify in the instructions but what the Logicom customer service told me is that you must not place it on the base, and you only have 3 minutes to register your handset between the moment you press on the base and the moment you pair it with the handset!!! Now it works perfectly for me.

      Hello, I have the Logicom Soly 150 and the battery in the top right is blinking and is empty. It's been an hour since it started charging but still nothing, and there are 4 rectangles spinning as if it's searching or I don't know. I've pressed the button with the dot and the 3 commas on the base for 10 seconds as indicated below, but nothing works :(
      CAN ANYONE HELP ME????

    Hello,

    My phone is the Riva 200. When I take it off the base and make a call, there is no dial tone, and when someone calls me, I can answer, but I can hear the other person, and they can't hear me.

      C'est pour les Logicom Riva annulé, il faut que tu appuies sur le bouton (" ") à côté du vol+. Tu restes appuyé 10 secondes, après tu vas sur le combiné appuyer sur ok (journal) s'affiche sur l'écran, après (association) appuyer sur ok, code Pin 0000, appuyer sur ok (cherche), après il va marcher. Si vous avez le catalogue, allez sur la page numéro 37.

    I tried unplugging/replugging, attempting a factory reset, but despite these actions, I am getting no results. The 'Searching' message is still flashing.

    Well, never mind, I found it. It's really simple; you just need to think about putting the batteries in the handset :p
    (In the next version, they should display "BATTERY" instead!!!)

      Exactly the same problem. I've tried everything (pairing, resetting), the message "searching" keeps showing!
      When I try pairing, the log message that should appear doesn't show up. It's always "searching" that appears.

    Is it normal for the dial on my RIVA 450 handset not to light up? It's not very readable without light and it says "color screen" in the product description.
    Thank you

    Good evening,

    I have provided the complete procedure in this forum to solve the problem concerning the LOGICOM ILOA 3500 as that is the one I have, here it is again:
    At LOGICOM, they are not willing to respond... so here is how to solve this problem for which I have not read the solution on the forums so:

    After many futile manipulations... on my LOGICOM ILOA 3500

    PAIRING A HANDSET WITH A BASE

    Accessing this function requires knowing the base's PIN code (0000 by
    default).
    One base can register up to 6 handsets.
    To register a handset on a base, follow these manipulations:
    On the base:
    * Press and hold the bottom button of the base (big dot + 3 small curves) for 10 seconds
    * The base is in pairing mode for 3 minutes, now follow the manipulations to be done on the handset.
    On the handset to be registered:
    * Press the OK button at the top left of the handset
    * "LOG" appears on the screen
    * Use the large button below the screen that allows you to scroll up and down to select "PAIRING"
    * Press the OK button
    * Use the large button below the screen that allows you to scroll up and down to select the base to which the handset should be registered.
    * Press the OK button
    * (not necessary here because it’s the corresponding base of the handset, so go directly to the next step)
    * "PIN? ----" appears on the screen.
    * Use the alphanumeric keypad to enter the PIN code of the base (0000 by
    default) on which this handset will register
    * Press the OK button
    * "SEARCH" appears on the screen.
    * A beep informs you that the handset has been registered on the base.
    8- RESETTING

    If necessary, reset to default if you make a mistake.

    Hi! No need to complicate things further!!!

    Hello,
    I have the same problem, yet the batteries have been charged for 24 hours
    For it to work, it seems that the base must always be plugged into a power outlet, otherwise, subscriber absent
    Is there another solution, or is it a general problem?

      Hello,
      I have a problem with a Logicom Riva 252 phone.
      It is new. After 8 days of use, for the last 2 days, I have been unable to receive or make a call. It constantly displays "searching."
      What should I do? I have disconnected and reconnected everything - checked the batteries of both handsets.
      I can't find any solutions. Help...............
      Thank you for your assistance.

    Good evening, I have an issue with my Logicom Riva Pop 250; it no longer displays anything, the batteries are charged, but apparently it no longer recognizes the base. I don't know how to fix it, knowing that I can't use the keyboard as it is blocked and none of the keys work anymore.
    Thank you.
