R4 sdhc upgrade and white screen

Hello,
I just bought an "R4 SDHC Upgrade Revolution for DS" (black box + orange SDHC) and a 4GB micro SD.
I have tried a bunch of different kernels but each time I get a white screen.... I haven't even seen "loading"..... I'm desperate because my son's birthday is coming up....... help!!!!

    Go to r4card.fr and go to download software:
    then check which one is your card and download the installation guide; this guide will solve all your problems.

    When you unzip the file, everything goes into a folder. It should not be in a folder, so cut everything and paste it outside (to the actual root).

    The firmware is available on the "official" site indicated on the box R4I-SDHC.com.

    Could you explain to me which Kernel you tried and which files are on your micro SD?
    For an SDHC, you need the 1.25french kernel

      I tried a bunch of kernels: R4 French V1.06b, R4SDHC_v1.24_French..... and even French-1.25 with the following files
      _system_
      moonshl
      _DS_MENU.DAT
      _DS_MENU.INI
      _DS_MSHL.NDS
      and I formatted in Fat 32......
      but still a nice white screen......

        I think you need to create a separate folder to put your games in and/or from what I've been reading for 10 minutes, many people are having issues with 4GB micro SDs...

        Hello, I just received one today

        I used the firmware R4 French V1.04b and it works perfectly

        When you unzip the rar file to the root of the microSD, it puts everything in a folder. You need to go into the folder, cut, and paste everything outside of the file. Since the file is empty, you can delete it. Then, just create a games folder and put your ROMs in it.
