Bonjour,
j'ai configurer mon modem LG LDU 800, comme ubuntu 8.04
lorsque je tape la commde wvdial au terminal je reçois comme message :

La réponse est sans doute dans cette ligne là :
--> Warning: Could not modify /etc/ppp/pap-secrets: Permission denied
Il faut modifier le propriétaire du fichier et vérifier les droits d'acces (lecture+écriture).
J'ai trouvé ce lien pour la détection du modem, mais il semble que c'est bon pour vous.

c'est la méthode que j'ai essayé pour configurer ce modem sous ubuntu 8.04
mais ça n'a pas marché...
j'arrive pas à avoir le PRODID et VENDOR
y a t'il une autre méthode, ou expliquer davantage celle là.

c'est bon,
j'ai trouvé la solution.
- il suffit d'installer gnome-ppp, à travers "le gestionnaire des paquets synaptic"
- lancer gnome-ppp dans le terminal à l'aide de la commande "sudo gnome-ppp"
- brancher le modem
- dans paramètres, appuyer sur "Détecter" : le modem sera détecter automatiquement.
- appuyer sur "Connecter"
et voilà, vous êtes sur internet...
