Header only on the first page Solved

Hello,

I'm using Word 2007, and I'm trying to add a header only on the first page, but when I click on Page Layout > Layout > Different first page, the header disappears from the first page and appears only on the other pages.

Hello,

Well, you just had to choose the "Different first page" option before...

But no big deal: go to your 2nd header, select and cut it, then paste it into the first header...

Hello. Does anyone know how to do this for Word 2010? I'm trying to apply this trick, but when I click on "different first page," the header on my first page completely disappears and I can only create headers on the following pages.

I have tried to search several forums, but it seems that the solution is always the same.

Hello,

It's normal for your header to disappear when you select Different First Page after creating the header. However, this "disappearing" header should be on the second page, and will be visible as soon as there is a second page in the document.

And if you position yourself on the header of the first page, you can put something else. In fact, it says "First Header."
