EMule: KAD / Node Discovery

Hello,
I need your help please
I have an issue with eMule, when I connect everything goes well, I can see the servers but the problem is that the KAD tells me it has discovered a node and I don't know what that means??
I'm therefore stuck, nothing is downloading

P.S.: Which server should I choose, the one with the highest number for ping or utility?

First of all, thank you for your response.
I don't understand why nothing is downloading if the KAD is good. Do I have to connect to the KAD?
Do you have any idea or solution for the files to download quickly?

by clicking on IRC at the top of your EMULE program and then on connect at the bottom left of your page, you will find a forum specialized in connections and streams called #emule french. Feel free to ask any questions you have.

Yes, there is a long list; I click on the one with the lowest ping
but it doesn't change anything
what do you think ?????

Normally, it should show you on the right whether it is connected to a server or not.

He is connected to the server I choose, but I think the KAD is responsible for all my issues because before, when it was connected properly, it was downloading.

Thank you very much, I did what was recommended, however there is nothing in the kad tab??
I can connect perfectly well but my download still doesn't work, in transfer the progress is red and the priorities are 0
please help me, I am really upset.

1- Downloading isn't good, buy your movies instead.
2- Downloading isn't instant. Sometimes you have to wait a long time.. is the progress bar for your downloads in your transfer list blue, red, or green?
3- Are the little arrows in the bar at the bottom of eMule red, yellow, or green?

I know, but I simply can't afford it, and fortunately, I don't do that all the time.
My arrows are red on the top and bottom; I have a big problem.
I'm connected, but I have nothing at all in the Kad tab.
Everything used to work fine; I don't know what's going on.
