Setting Up eMule with High ID for Beginners

Hello,

So, I have a problem. I am an eMule user and it was on high ID until now. This weekend, I did a bit of cleaning on my PC (including uninstalling eMule and installing Bit Defender Internet Security 2008 that I just bought). I reinstalled eMule and since then, it’s running on low ID. Last time, a friend helped me and I think he opened the eMule ports for me. Unfortunately, I can't remember how to do it myself. Could you help me? I spend a lot of time on my PC and I know how to do quite a few things, but I'm pretty much a novice in this area. What do I need, what should I do? There are already many topics about this on the forum, but I haven't found anything that could really help me. I'm running on XP for your information. Could you lend me a hand? Thanks in advance. Configuring Emule for High ID is super simple once you know what you're doing and where you're going ^^!
First, you need to go to the PREFERENCES in Emule in the CONNECTION category to find the TCP and UDP numbers (ports, that is :)) and note them down!

Once you have the numbers, you must configure your router. Most often, you access the router by typing in the address bar http://192.168.1.1! For users with a FREEBOX, it's different; you need to go directly through your FREE account!

Once in the router, just enter the TCP and UDP ports, and in the IP field, you need to enter your PC's IP address (192.168.1.*)!

Restart Emule and there you go, you are in HIGH ID!

You go to your Livebox and in LAN server and you install the UDP ports by copying them from eMule.

Salut écoute, je suis allé sur le lien, ça a l'air super, mais comme je suis en pack 2, je dois télécharger EVIP4226 patch 2.exe. Je les fais mais à la fin ils disent "Appuyez sur une touche pour sortir", rien ne se passe, je suis bloqué, ça me soulève. Aidez-moi, merci.

Hello, I'm going to tell you how to be in High ID ;)

1: Under Vista: Start > Control Panel > Security > Allow a program through the firewall > first check that eMule is checked then at the bottom click on "Add a Port" and there in the Name you write (e.g. eMuleTcp) and then to know the port number go to eMule in preferences then in connection and there look at the number next to TCP write it where it says port number and click ok

and for UDP do the same except change and check the UDP box and enter the UDP number and then click ok and then go back to eMule close it and restart and there you go you connect to a server and you will be in High ID
