Here’s what you need to do:
First, you need to disable the firewall by going:
Start-Control Panel-Firewall and disable the firewall.
Next, you will open eMule and look at the bottom of the page. You will see a small globe surrounded by 2 arrows. Both arrows need to be green to achieve a maximum connection and speed. If they are a different color, you need to open the ports, and here’s how to do it:
- You click twice on the globe at the bottom of the page to see if everything is open.
- For example, if KAD is connected behind a firewall when you've disabled it, just click twice on the globe: check the IP and port codes and enter them in KAD at the top right where it says IP or address and port, and everything should return to normal. Be sure to separate the numbers with dots and separate the IP and the port. Good luck to all!

Hi!
Well, I have the Windows firewall but I haven't activated it, same for the router, I'm with Free and I've enabled protocol scrambling. So sometimes KAD is open and sometimes it's behind a firewall. Could it be due to "peak hours"? Because right now it only works in the morning, in the evening the servers disconnect by themselves and it gives me a time out and KAD is consistently behind a firewall.
