Hello,

I am on XP Pack 2 with the Freebox.

The eMule connection test ends with a TCP test failure.

What does that mean?

How can I fix it?

Thank you for your help,

Regards,

GLR

    Hi,
that means you're using a firewall (hardware like a router for example or software like the one from Windows XP or Zone Alarm or others...) and that the ports used by eMule are closed.

    See you!

    Hi!
It’s very likely that it’s your box that’s blocking everything!
There’s a good chance it needs to be configured; I wish you good luck!
As for me, I switched back to ADSL modem and have no issues!
    Bye!

    Hello,

Before, I was with Tiscali on Sagem Fast 800.

My firewall was activated but I had set the ports on eMule and it was fine.

On Freebox, I don't know what to do.

    hello,

I also have a TCP test failure on eMule and therefore I am stuck with a low ID.
I believe this is due to the Inventel DW-B200 router modem from Cegetel and that I need to open certain eMule ports.

    How do I do that?
I have a link to the modem settings, but once inside, I am lost, especially when I'm asked which service to associate with a port...

If someone has been through this and can give me a hand, that would be great. Thank you
    Pascal

    Hello,

I managed to get a High ID with eMule.

I had to configure the Freebox router with the eMule ports 4662 & 4672.

    So check Free router settings.

    Best regards,

    GLR

      Hi there!
Well, what did I tell you! It's the router that needed to be opened.
      Happy hacking!

Hi, I also have a problem with the TCP port of eMule. I tried to configure my firewall (Panda 2007) to allow it, but it still doesn't work and I really don't want to make any mistakes and end up with my PC infected with all sorts of things!!!!

    Please help me

    Thank you

Hi, I also have a problem with the TCP port of eMule. It is impossible to establish a TCP connection to eMule, which results in a LowID. I don't know how to solve this problem.

    Please help me

    Thank you!

    Hi everyone

I had the same problems as you with TCP-UDP ports and I found everything in the eMule FAQ. You need to open your eMule ports in the firewall and on your router, and then it's good. That's how I did it and now I have a high ID. However, I have a problem: I'm on high ID but I have
little to no reception and I keep getting a new message IP. Can someone help me please? Thank you

    Hello,
hello, I also have no reception, I use Windows Vista on my laptop and I have Numericable. I don't even know what the ports are or how to open them, and my router is even worse, I don't know anything about it at all. Can you help me fix everything so that my network works? I always have a yellow and red arrow. Thank you to anyone who can guide me through all this technical jargon. Thank you a thousand times to anyone who can help me because it's completely unclear right now. Thank you again!!!!!!!!!!!

    Hello,
I no longer have any bandwidth with E mule since I activated my box (Free) in router mode. I have one PC connected to the box via Ethernet and another via Wi-Fi.
I have opened the ports on my Freebox and allowed E mule through the Norton firewall, then disabled the one in Windows Vista.

What can I do to get it back?

    salam alikoum ,
simply resolve the issue by following these steps.
START .......CONNECTION..........SHOW ALL CONNECTIONS ...........CHANGE WINDOWS FIREWALL SETTINGS......EXCEPTIONS ...... CHECK EMULE ....OK .
it's good if you redo the Emule port test it's successful .
