Hello,
After several hours of research, with no results, I am turning to your services, which I hope will be helpful!!
So let me explain my problem:
I have a Packard Bell ME35 that was running Vista,
I upgraded it to Windows XP Professional
And I can't find the audio driver, or at least the drivers that don't work!
In detail:
Description: Conexant High Definition Audio driver
version: 4.31.0.50
I hope you have the solution to my problem,
And thank you!

best of luck

With the sp3 you don't need the first link.
Try this one manually instead.

Download and install this driver.

(thanks to Lightbringer) -
the REF of your PC is not complete to get the driver link on the manufacturer's website.

Hello
this is the Conexant High Definition Audio Driver
ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp40501-41000/sp40762.exe
http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=ob-64867-1&lc=en&dlc=en&cc=en&lang=en&os=2100&product=3753977

Good evening again,
The audio device identifier on the High Definition Audio bus is:
HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_14F1&DEV_5051&SUBSYS_1631C20A&REV_1000
HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_14F1&DEV_5051&SUBSYS_1631C20A
Then for the audio codecs that XP says are working, it's:
MS_MMACM
Unfortunately, the driver for Pico.l still doesn't work

good continuation -
Hello,
I have a Packard Bell ME35 that was running on Vista
For Packard Bell EasyNote ME35 models, the manufacturer does not offer drivers compatible with Windows XP.
Download and install this >>> audio driver
If you still have issues with the drivers, see this link >>> https://sedo.com/search/details/?partnerid=324561&language=fr&domain=aieaie.com&origin=sales_lander_10&utm_medium=Parking&utm_campaign=offerpage

Hmm, no, the driver isn't working; isn't there another solution besides the second one?
--
Keep up the good work. -
-
Yeah,
Here they are:
- SM Bus Controller
- High Definition Audio Bus Device.
--
good continuation -
In the device manager, right-click on: "SM bus controller" (where you have the yellow dot) properties => details.
In the drop-down menu, select: "Hardware Ids".
Post the information. (sequence of numbers and letters) -
Good evening,
For pepito10 here is what you asked me:
PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_4385&SUBSYS_C20A1631&REV_14
PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_4385&SUBSYS_C20A1631
PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_4385&CC_0C0500
PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_4385&CC_0C05
And for Tribun I will download it right away and I will keep you updated on what follows!
Thank you for your help!!
--
good continuation -
Following my download, the driver you gave me, Tribun, doesn't work. Too bad, but I have a Packard Bell and not an HP, and it's only compatible with Windows Vista, while I've switched to Windows XP. ^^'
There you go, I'll come back this evening to see if there's any news!! (I hope so)
--
Good luck! -
Tribun, once the link is set up nothing happens, is it because I tried other ones before this one?
And in the devices, it is still not installed and there is no sound.

good continuation -
=) A big thank you to Pepito10 who solved my problem with the SM bus controller.
Just the audio driver left, which I hope will be resolved soon.
--
good luck -
give the identifier of the audio device on the High Definition Audio bus to see if we can find something.
-
Try the driver from post 4 now.
-
First, install this fix and restart your computer.
http://www.commentcamarche.net/telecharger/telechargement 34056544 microsoft uaa universal audio architecture bus driver
https://saysprasad.wordpress.com/2009/02/11/compaq-presario-cq60-101au-laptop-drivers-for-windows-xp/
Download the driver from this link: 07. Audio/Sound - download CQ60-101AU audio driver (3MB) (see help below to see how to install)
Create a new folder on your desktop, download the driver, place it in the new folder and unzip it.
Device Manager right-click on the High Definition Audio device and select Update driver.
Check Install from a list or specific location (advanced users) do not search. I will choose the driver to install.
Click on Disk provided => Browse.
Select the file WiSVHe5.inf and then click Open.
Click OK, Next and Finish. -
Good evening Pepito10,
When I search in "browse," it doesn't find any folders in "xp32," so I can't place "WiSVHe5.inf" as mentioned earlier. Is it because I have an exclamation point on my question mark?
Also, your first link doesn't work; it says: "Setup has detected that the Service Pack version of this system is newer than the update you are applying.
There is no need to install this update."
Thank you.

Best wishes. -
