Hello, I would like to find a completely free software to convert NEF photos to JPEG format so that I can read them with any program. I had already found software, but it stamped a small logo at the bottom of the photo, which was annoying because I want to sell my photos online.

I used FastStone Image Viewer, which works very well, but it only processes one image at a time; you just have to save it as a JPEG.

Yes, PhotoFiltre X (10) converts NEF into the desired format. For the paid full version, it remains to check for the free version and see if any necessary plugins are needed.

And this can be done on multiple photos simultaneously with: Tools Automation Source folder Source format (most common images selected by default where all images are NEF) from PhotoFiltre, from where to where, what type of input and output, etc.

It goes without saying that this answer is no longer for the authors but for the following ones.

There is also IrfanView (https://www.irfanview.com/ which works really well. It can even do batch processing...

When you don't know what Photofiltre does, you keep quiet. It is unable to open .nef files.
