Should I unplug my powerline adapters at night?

Question

Hello, I notice that my powerline adapters are quite hot no matter what time of day or night it is. Worried that they might consume a lot of electricity or simply wear out too quickly, I would like to know if I should unplug them at night to cool them down a bit? If you have them at home, do you unplug them? Best regards

Hello, we are straying from the problems of powerline adapters here! I advise you to keep them plugged in, especially if you have a box connected to them, updates (Free for me) often occur at night for the firmware, which helps avoid making the connections inactive during the day. As for consumption, it remains very low, and it is normal for the adapters to be warm; everything electrical heats up, that's the rule, unless of course that wasn't the case before and it suddenly happens... -- to be born, to die, and to be reborn endlessly!! such is the law..

hi  Wouldn't it be worth unplugging them just to save a bit of the planet... (and to avoid health issues too)  We're not using it = we turn it off/unplug it

Ok thanks. Life is too short to think about health or the planet. Studies show that the planet is destroying itself, slowly but surely, and we are only accelerating the process. As for my health, know that I don't drink, I don't smoke, I eat very balanced, and yet that doesn't prevent me from having serious back, neck, and meniscus problems in both knees (no, I'm not a stuntman either). Various studies raise a real danger regarding powerline adapters and even advise against installing these devices in bedrooms.  As for me, I would be cautious; after all, everyone does what they want with their health. As it has been said, it doesn't guarantee you will be less sick, just a bit more likely to be so.
