Hello, for several weeks I have been unable to hear sound when playing mp3, avi, flv files, and others with the RealPlayer player. Only WMA files are audible; I have uninstalled and reinstalled the player several times, but the problem persists. However, this issue occurs only on my "administrator" session; on the "guest" session, RealPlayer works perfectly, meaning that the playback of files is audible! Thank you for helping me resolve the issue!
Configuration: Windows Vista Firefox 3.0.1

I just had to reset Internet Explorer, I don't know what the link between the two is but it worked (especially when you consider that some settings in IE define several operating parameters for other programs...)
Hello,
I deleted Real Player and Windows Media Player, they are too heavy and too limited. Instead, I use two small free programs that are full of resources: AIMP2 for sound and KMPlayer for video. They recognize all formats without needing to load codecs and have countless handy settings, not to mention AIMP2's unmatched sound quality and KMP's impeccable fluidity. These two replace all the others for me.
