Pointer coordinates in Photoshop

Hello,
I'm looking to find out if it's possible to display the pointer coordinates in Photoshop.
Not necessarily to know its position, but rather to get the size of a selection directly.

Or a trick to crop an image to a desired size all at once.
Configuration: Windows Vista Internet Explorer 7.0

    Hello,
    The pointer coordinates are visible in the palette_Information: F8.
    Otherwise, you can set (in the control bar) the height and width of the cropping.

        I was just looking to see if we could "enter" the coordinates of a selection or a path (like in InDesign)…

    Go to Window---Information. When you have a selection, you will see the height and width. Same for cropping.

    … and actually, we can…
    • (once a selection is made on an empty layer) by Select>Transform_Selection, we can access the coordinates of it (and we can position it precisely: the x and y appear in the control bar).
    • …All that's left is to crop (after confirming the transformation) by Image>Crop…

    Thank you for your responses; I have found the information regarding the pointer position and the selection size.

    However, the values are in cm, I believe. Is it possible to convert them to indicate the selection size in pixels?

    When you open Image--->Image Size, you have the value in cm, in picas, in %, and just above, in pixels...

    There are often several solutions...
    for example: right-click in the rules and you can set your unit of measure... (reflected in the info_palette).
