Hello,

I'm working on my thumbnails and I would like to add a background behind my text so that it stands out more
It's a bit like the thumbnail attached

But apart from using the Rectangle Tool and adjusting it each time, I don’t see...

I found a method for automatic adjustment with the Drop Shadow effect, but it's not homogeneous enough, it doesn't look professional....

Any ideas?
Thanks :)
Configuration: Windows / Chrome 71.0.3578.98

    Hello,
in the "Layer Effects and Styles" of your text layer.

    https://helpx.adobe.com/en/photoshop/using/layer-effects-styles.html

it's still the basics, especially when using a PROFESSIONAL PAID software.

      Hello hibooou,
My message indeed mentions that I am using layer styles and effects, here the "Drop Shadow" effect, but it doesn't make me happy.

Which one are you using to achieve the desired effect that I describe in my question?

      Thank you for your response.
