Question

Hello,

upon startup of the BIOS, I get an error message "keyboard failure"
it is then impossible to start Windows: the keyboard lights up then goes off and therefore I cannot type the password required to start Windows.
I should note that the problem appeared while using Windows: USB device not recognized error
the keyboard tested on another PC works
another detail: it seems that the mouse is not working anymore either...........
Help please!

Hello dear friends,

the problem is very simple, before I used to bang my head against the wall, but not long after I discovered that you just need to turn the power off and on, not the PC, and you'll see that your PC takes shape, bye bye keyboard error.

Hello

If you have tested your keyboard and mouse on another PC and they work, given the "Keyboard failure" message during the motherboard check-up, you can try a CMOS clear... (Resetting the BIOS settings)

You will find a jumper on your motherboard for that (CLS CMOS; RESET; etc.) or you can remove the battery from the motherboard for 15 minutes.

Then, restart your PC with the minimum external peripherals (monitor, keyboard-mouse) and let us know what happens please.

Hello,  Try turning off the power and then turning it back on, and you'll see the difference.
