Hello everyone
I would like to share the problem I have; I signed up a few months ago on "adopteunmec," for those who don't know, it's a dating site.
Everything was going well until the day I tried to log in, and then nothing worked, some smart guy managed to change my login details and is accessing my account with impunity.
What bothers me the most about this story is that there are photos of me.
I can't even count the number of emails I've sent to the site explaining my issue, and I've received nothing from them, a bunch of real A***holes.
What frustrates me more and more about this kind of site, and increasingly on others as well, is that signing up takes 5 minutes, but trying to get rid of it is a real pain!
So yes, adopte is a big pile of S*** when it comes to taking responsibility. I'm fed up with having to chase them, tired of waiting for them to respond, they have no right to play with my image like this.
Please, what should I do to get them to take action...
Thank you for reading and for your help.

Good evening,
The best thing to do is indeed to file a complaint... To get more information and have a solid complaint, you can take a look at the CNIL website... Just keep in mind that you are still responsible for the initial posting of the photos, even if you no longer have access to your "adopte" account...
Before filing a complaint, you can also send a registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt to the adopt headquarters; if you don’t receive a response, send a second one in one month, and if needed, a final one two weeks later. In each letter, explain your case, set a deadline for their response, and specify that you want to be reimbursed for the expenses incurred... Be sure to keep evidence of your sent letters... If in two months you have no response, that will give you a good starting point for your complaint...
I hope this helps you to achieve the deletion of your account....
""""Otherwise, just a little aside, just for info, the "internet police" is set up for cybercrime... quite targeted, and in the case of Sophie, who is normally of legal age and fully capable of her intellectual faculties, and unless her photos showed her in compromising situations... it will be the right peace officer or the right gendarme who will handle the problem, if it is necessary to go that far.... there you go""""
With that, have a good evening
