Hello,
I want to launch an MPEG2 video in full screen with VLC every time the computer starts. After half a day of searching on forums, I'm desperately turning to you in hopes that someone can enlighten me on this issue.
I saw that VLC has a scheduler, but I'm not very familiar with it.
So if someone can inform me about the method to adopt to have these actions at the startup of my machine, I would be very grateful!
Thank you in advance ^^

Hello
I remain vigilant for any response you may receive, I am just a little confused by the "com" in English due to a lack of skills, but well, we need to globalize

Hello
I don't think it's possible with VLC , but it is possible with Real Player Gold 11 , whose debas module is free and allows for screenshot captures and downloads of flv videos and Flash animations; https://www.commentcamarche.net/telecharger/tv-video/18997-real-player/
Best regards

There is also the excellent media player SMPlayer which allows you to add options when launching the application.
No problem launching it in full screen.
1) Create a shortcut for smplayer.exe and place it on your desktop.
2) Modify it as follows:
"C:\Documents and Settings\manu\Desktop\smplayer\smplayer.exe" -fullscreen "C:/Documents and Settings/manu/Desktop/jukebox.avi"
As you can see in 3 parts:
- "c:docume....smplayer.exe" path to the SMPlayer software
- -fullscreen: Option to launch it in full screen
- "...jukebox.avi" path to your video
3) Just place your shortcut in the startup directory!
Enjoy the video!!!
P.S.: for more information on all possible options: http://18382.whserv.de/admin/index.php

To start your movie every time the computer boots up
Put it in this folder: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Startup
As for the full screen issue, I'm sorry but I don't know

I'm bad at French and so what???
Google and wiki are your friends (-o-)

Thank you again, sniper!
I now want to loop the video at the startup of VLC when the computer starts.
You can click the loop button in VLC, but you have to do it every time it starts.
However, I do not want to intervene each time; I want the looping playback to start automatically when the video opens.
I don't know how to configure VLC for what I want to do, so if anyone knows the procedure...
Thank you in advance for your responses!

Hello
Indeed, I have strongly believed for a long time that VLC does not remember the settings you provide after starting it, whether it’s the 16/9 or 4/3 aspect ratio, the same goes for sound. However, I think I recall that they have a forum on the VideoLAN site, and it would be interesting to ask them the question. VLC is the result of the work of a group of students, and it has often been improved, and there is even an English version now. If you have any news, I am interested
Thank you and have a good day HERE IS WHAT I FOUND
