Hello,
I just received my R4 REVOLUTION NDSL/NDS card and micro SD, but I can't get it to work.
As soon as I insert it after putting R4new_v_1.24_French on it, it displays on the top screen: "COULDN'T FIND_DS_MENU.DAT" and nothing on the bottom screen.
I tried with Kernel 1.18 and I'm still getting the same message.
Does anyone have THE solution please?
I'm waiting for your response with IMPATIENCE
Thank you

Hello,
There are a lot of proposed solutions... here are mine with 2 different R4s
I have an R4 SHDC and a 2 GB card.
I loaded the kernel 1.25 (see https://www.linfoxdomain.com/nintendo/ds/ ) and unzipped the files.
After formatting the SD card, copying all the uncompressed files and copying the games the console stayed stuck on loading.
I created a games directory where I copied them and since then it works!!!
Conclusion for me for this type of card is that the games should not be at the root but in a separate directory.
For the other one, it's a (simple) R4.
For this one, I took the kernel 1.18 French and there the 'loading' remained…..
So, for this one, I copied the games to the root and not in a directory and it works.
Hoping this can help you..
See you!

It's really frustrating... TT_TT
Accidentally, I erased everything on my micro SD and I wanted to know if there is a link to recover the files from the micro SD
Thanks in advance
