Mobile Games -- GHT G3 Solved/Closed

Question

Hello everyone,

Well, here I am reaching out to you once again ^^ regarding the G3 from "GHT".
I've been searching for a while now for an answer to my question (still without a response...), which is:
How do you install a JAVA game (using the JAVA box or others) on this mobile?

Knowing that when I am in the "Games" menu of the phone, an icon "download games" is available, connecting us to the WAP site of Gameloft, where, of course, it is impossible to download anything as it says "mobile not compatible" (yet again ^^).

Moreover, in the user manual of the phone, a section regarding the JAVA box informs us that it is possible to install games through it...
Is this fact or fiction?

If anyone knows or has any available game sites, I’ll take it!!

I also have the GHT g3 but I found out how to access msn from my mobile. You just need to go on Google, type "msn on mobile," go to the site, and instead of entering the GHT g3 (which is not listed anyway), you select the brand Samsung and model f490. They will send the link to your phone, and you just need to download it to use it. Then go to the Java box and that's it ^^ I managed to do it, at least I hope this helps some of you who, like me, have a plan with unlimited msn and are frustrated not being able to enjoy it.

Hi .... I also liked it as soon as I saw it on TV ..... I struggled to find it in stores ... I got it .... I received several messages from Universal informing me that I could download MSN .... Wap connection through the link ..... Then the same response ... "Incompatible Phone" ..... I went to the BOUYGUES website, the mother of little Universal ..... I was the first to give my opinion on the GHT, I have restarted 5 or 6 times since, REPORTING THIS ISSUE EVERY TIME, but my opinion has never been published ..... ( Unlike many, and since my last mishap, I only take on commitments equal to the duration of the Mobile's Warranty )

My message: Hello, I am satisfied with the basic use of your equipment but on the other hand, regarding the compatibility of this phone with the services of your resellers, it leaves much to be desired. I wanted to know if you plan to provide updates containing software to correct this flaw or is the G3 doomed to remain a basic phone like we had 5 years ago??? Because for my part, I don’t have any multimedia capabilities... except for photos and videos, but the WAP is useless with this mobile. Best regards

Hello, I also tried to add apps or games but it doesn't work! I hope we can add them soon. I have a blocked plan with unlimited SMS from Universal Mobil. I would like to know if I can install MSN Messenger, but I don't have the right plan to access the internet!

GHT is offering you a House while promising that the problems will soon be solved...
BOUYGUES offered me to exchange it for a Samsung F480.....

I wrote to A GHT France, they called me back within 10 days. For them, it's not their fault, but they are unable to tell you more...
And they directed you to Universal or Bouygues...
I wrote a longer response, but after explaining the problem, I was offered to exchange my GHT for a Samsung F480 or a LG Tweety...

For your information, it is possible to add games to the ght g3: at least by downloading them from different websites such as:

Once downloaded, connect the phone to the computer via USB, open the folder related to the phone, and place the downloaded games in the Java icon. Then, once disconnected, go to games, Java box, applications, options, and install the file. The downloaded games will appear, and you just have to install them.

Most of the touchscreen games available on these two sites are compatible except for a few exceptions, even the games for the LG KP500. There you go, I hope this helps some of you.

Hi everyone. Like you, I have the G3 from GHT, with unlimited MSN option, unlimited internet. I'm really disappointed when I realize it's a whole hassle to use MSN; I still haven't figured it out (by the way lady clark, if you could specify how you did it). Then there's no YouTube or Dailymotion (I was actually wondering if there's a Java control to install? If anyone knows, please let me know).  Finally, I've tried to install a few Java games. Once again, it's pretty tough. The games are installed, but I can't play them! The phone isn't suitable.  There you go...  Hoping that GHT will improve all of this. I'm going to try your links link84000, and also try to get a case for GHT ^^   Bye, and good luck.

Hello,

I also have a GHT G3 with the unlimited WLM option. And I managed to install it! To do this, go to the wap tab and type in this URL: http://mswapbtmsn.miyowa.net

Click on download and follow the instructions.

Then the Java box will launch by itself, you click yes when needed and shortly after you can use MSN.

Another tip, do Google searches on your PC for Samsung F490 games. Most of them are compatible with the GHT G3.

Since I managed to install MSN on the GHT G3, I would like to know on which site we can find games compatible with this phone? I was told about the Samsung F490, but I can't find any site that allows me to download some games to then put them on the phone ='(, help please :/

I also managed to download MSN at one point but it bugs way too much on the GHT G3.

And when it works, MSN disconnects me. Sometimes it tells me that I'm not in network coverage even though all the bars are there. Honestly, the GHT is really below what I was expecting.

Java games OK  Opera Mini OK via Java box as well, so it compensates for the integrated browser which is very limited.

In fact, by downloading various files in Java format with the .jar extension onto the PC, and then placing them in the Java folder of the phone by connecting it to the PC via USB cable, you can do much more than it seems by going directly to Bouygues' WAP site (among others), as the sites often state that this phone is incompatible simply because it has not yet been listed in their database of known mobile models...

Then we disconnect the mobile from the USB and have the .jar files in the Java box, (in "options => install file") it compiles and we get new games or other apps. The only downside is that these remain accessible only in the Java box (you can't store them elsewhere, for example in "games" or even less put an icon directly on the desktop (unless GHT develops some utility for us to do that in the future ??)

Gmail for mobile
Google Maps
Opera mini
Zum-zum

and I don't plan to stop there!

... in fact, I even think we should be able to find free and compatible alternatives to Live Messenger in Java, without having to pay a subscription to chat on MSN!!
(except of course for the internet connection itself, for example the Web&Mail option from Bouygues)

Bonjour, moi aussi comme vous, j'ai acheté un GHT G3 et au bout de 2 jours, je suis déjà déçu par ce produit : pas de Messenger alors que j'ai accès à Messenger illimité avec mon forfait, pas de jeux alors que le livret indique que nous pouvons en télécharger... etc. Et je suis plus particulièrement déçu par l'écran tactile qui fonctionne très mal comparé à d'autres portables. En clair, je suis aussi déçu de ce produit.

Simple question, what's the address to send an email to Bouygues??? Because I have a G3 and I think I have THE ultimate G3 lol. First, my back cover is reversed, but that's not super annoying. Otherwise, I have the same problems as you; I managed to download MSN, but it works once in a million :S So there's no point in talking about WAP -_-". Also, when I try to read messages that are a bit too long, my phone bugs and restarts, or when I'm listening to music, it's the same. Speaking of music, my memory card, which is normally well inserted, keeps popping out even though my cover is in place, so it's really frustrating over time. Since I saw that Milou60110 managed to get a proposal to change their phone, I would love to have the address because the phone that caught my eye at first glance is actually a real pain -__-":@

Well, here I have the GHT G3, how do you say it? I can do everything with it: watch videos on YouTube, go on MSN, Facebook, no unpleasant issues at all! If you want to have internet access, your plan must be compatible with the internet, or you should configure it at your service provider's store. Hi,  I'm sending you a link where there are games available for the ght3 ght-g3.over-blog.com/article-31345787/html   I download the game on my computer and then install it in the mobile java application. Once that's done, you select the java application (the mobile must be disconnected from the computer) and when you select the game for the first time, it installs! You'll notice that for now there are no games for the g3, but those that are compatible are LG VIEWER.  Good luck!

GHT is a complete disaster, and no pun intended, we’re being taken for fools. The person who recommended it to me at Bouygues was kicked out due to so much incompetence. So now, for advice, I look online; I no longer waste my time going to a store where they couldn’t care less and are so pleasant with customers. The store is in Brest, at the top of Rue de Siam. For your information, I have reported it several times to customer service.

Yes, I have a good answer. It’s possible to put Java games on your GHT G3 in the phone's Java directory; you just need to paste game applications for LG 850 to 900... I tried it, it works.

Salut. I have the answer to your question. In fact, you need to go to the kko website. It's a site where you can download Java games. When you click on a game to download it, the Java software downloads to your ght g3 and then it's on your mobile. I did it this morning and it works.
