Hello,
I tested it and I got fooled.
After paying €9 for 18 months and despite a theft, I received nothing in compensation, and this insurer has well-honed their approach.
In the general conditions, it is specified that theft is covered for all causes, but in fact, it does not take into account theft categorized as theft by negligence, and in many cases, the insurer hides behind this reason.
So if you want to be compensated, you need to file a complaint for the following types of theft only:
- burglary
- pickpocketing
- theft (implied theft of your phone while you are carrying it, at least within 1 meter of you)
otherwise, everything else is excluded, and the operator will eagerly dictate your statement back to you and eventually tell you that you are not compensated, and of course, there will be no compassion, it's not her job.
In short, the insurance is too restrictive and too expensive, and in many cases, the replacement of the phone is not equivalent.
Strongly discouraged.
Other insurers are available to properly insure your phone.-
Hello
Unfortunately, it is not enough to file a complaint for burglary. I had my iPhone stolen through a break-in. When I called customer service, the insurer had a different definition of burglary on their version of the contract compared to my own contract. How can I fight back if the insurer has different clauses in their contract? It's a real scam. Have a good day.

Hello! I also felt like I got taken advantage of! My phone fell off a table, which resulted in a broken screen. Not knowing the exact cause, I said it could be me moving the table, the cat, or something else. But after talking to my mom, she admitted she dropped it but hadn't seen that the screen was broken (but I didn't tell them that because I didn't know at the time of the call to customer service). The moral is that I was told that not knowing the exact cause meant the insurance wouldn't cover it because it wasn't an "external sudden event." And since only the first version counts, I wasn't able to add a new piece to the file about my mom dropping it!! I was told that if someone other than me had dropped the phone by shaking a tablecloth, for example, the insurance would have worked! But I have doubts, the terms are vague and there could always be an excuse!!! I am extremely dissatisfied and angry! I canceled immediately!
