Hello, I'm feeling a bit discouraged. I have a Freebox and naturally the unlimited telephony that comes with it. I first acquired a Sagem D30T phone provided by my employer. I had some trouble configuring it, but even after that, it didn't work on my box even though everything was properly connected.
I did several searches everywhere on the net and I saw that the phones must be configured in voice frequencies to work with voice boxes. I went into the advanced settings and made the modification once again (it was already set by default to FV). However, the key tones still remained the same: clicks, while normally each key should sound different.
The phone still didn't work (no dial tone, automatic messaging...) so I called a technician who told me that the phone was not compatible with the Freebox (not on the 'non-exhaustive' list of accepted models).
I decided to buy another one: a Philips CD150 at FNAC. This recent model is supposed to work with all internet boxes (even though it doesn't appear on that list either), and here we go again, no dial tone, switching to FV doesn't work either (same key sounds) and it doesn't work...
I'm going to pull my hair out!!! Does anyone have a solution? Why doesn't the configuration on both phones work in FV when it's part of the settings? Thanks for helping me please!!!
