Hello
Here it is, I encrypted files on my computer using the program "handybits easycrypto", my computer was on XP Home. After formatting and switching to XP Professional. When trying to decrypt my data, the program flatly refuses to launch.... could you please help me find a solution... either a program that could decrypt this kind of format or anything else, I'm open to any idea....
Thank you in advance

I have the same problem. I have re-downloaded several times - nothing works. It's a problem because many of my files have been encrypted with handybits. Have you found a solution?

I had a similar problem back then, for example: if you burn your encrypted files, you can't open them anymore.
So decrypt before saving, and after saving, re-encrypt. Good luck with the test!

Hello,
Hello
I have the same issue, I encrypted with easy crypto and since then I have transferred my files from micro to micro, today I need to open them and easy crypto refuses to install, it displays an error message === so I have encrypted files that I can no longer open and that's not great. I couldn't find a solution online, I've reinstalled several times but nothing works.... So if a PRO can help us that would be SUPER........ Recently, I contacted Easycrypto to inform them and I'm waiting for a response but in the meantime....... THANK YOU

I hope you were able to recover Easy Crypto and decrypt your encrypted files?

No changes - when I reinstall easycrypto, at the end of the installation I get a Windows error message saying that the program has encountered an error and must close. I have the same problem when I try to open it, even though it appears to be installed. The issue is not recovering EasyCrypto, but resolving the conflict with Windows. I wrote to EasyCrypto, but they don't seem to have a solution.

Try installing handy.easycrypto on another machine, and use a USB key to transfer your files, and open them from this new installation.

Attention!
It has been pointed out that there are some incompatibilities... !!!

PS: Always create self-extracting archives... ? I say yes, but be careful not to ruin them with software that might clean the computer too well of "hidden" programs, or with changes in operating systems (e.g.: Win <-> linux).
