Good evening. I found something useful and that’s why I’m talking about it =D yes. I often see messages about configurations for this or that game. There aren’t always answers (and not 100% sure). The site I found is Can You RUN It?. Some may already be familiar with it, but not everyone. The site in question has a list of all the most recent games as well as the oldest ones. You just need to select your game from the list and click on Can You RUN It?. A quick scan of about 10 seconds will tell you if your configuration will run the game you chose, which is useful before purchasing a game and for making upgrades if needed on your computer. The site is in English but not hard to understand. A request for Java will be required if you don’t have it, but it’s automatic. In conclusion, I find Can You RUN It? very reliable based on several tests I've done, and it also provides a direct link to update your drivers if they are out of date. That's it, good evening to all.

Hello everyone, I would like to buy Call of Duty MW2, but I'm not sure if my PC can handle it. I checked on "Can you run it," and everything is good except for this:
CPU Speed
Minimum: Intel Pentium 4 3.2GHz or AMD Athlon 64 3200+ processor or better supported
You Have: 1.60 GHz
Here is my processor:
Intel(R) Pentium(R) Dual CPU E2140 @ 1.60GHz.
On some forums, people say it's fine, while others say it's not. Can you tell me if my computer would be able to play Call of Duty?
For any additional questions, please feel free to ask, and I will provide them gladly.
Sincerely, LAPINOUDESBOIS. :)

Surely not, with this mobile phone processor I doubt we can play recent games.
I laugh to specify that this remains a theoretical test that doesn't commit to anything
I just tested my laptop for Need for Speed Undercover
and it tells me that it works without any problem
except that I know it won't work because my CPU is a dual core at 1.6GHz and the site says it corresponds to a single-core CPU at 3.4GHz. Thank goodness I didn’t push my Q6600 to 3.6GHz; it would have found it at 9GHz or something
so be careful mainly with the CPU.

I have indeed tested the site by testing my games as well. And for my part, I didn't see any problems. For example, I tested NFS Undercover in the list, it tells me: CPU Minimum: Intel Pentium 4 or equivalent, that's the minimum recommended. You Have: 2 processors running - AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4600+ PASS, that's what I have. CPU Speed Minimum: 3.0 GHz for XP/ 3.2GHz for Vista, again that's the minimum recommended. You Have: 2.40 GHz Performance Rated at 6.90 GHz. I tested it with more demanding games like Crysis and every time it says PASS in my case, it works. If it says FAIL, then indeed the game runs poorly, but so far I haven't had any issues. For example, GTA IV on my other computer, I have a big red FAIL lol on an ATI Radeon X1650 with 512 MB, indeed it's slow depending on the resolution. That's why I think it's still quite reliable. If it says a minimum of 3.0 GHz (normal) and you have a dual-core at 1.6 GHz, then it should work I think. A Core Duo @ 1.66 GHz will already be more powerful than a standard Pentium 4HT @ 3.4 GHz...

Modern Warfare 2 is very special because it uses a new type of gaming method (I can't remember the name) that hosts your game and streams the images to you.
So you shouldn't have any problems if you have a good connection.
I managed to run it smoothly with a 1.9GHz single-core :p

I don’t pay attention to dates, and I think I’m right because it’s certain that you can have the best connection in the world, if you have a weak PC, you won’t be able to play contrary to what you said :) And there is a connection between what you said and what I said if you can read properly, without being pejorative…
