Runes of Magic complicated

Hello,

I recently installed Runes of Magic
The problem is that I install it, but when it gets to the window where it usually says Start, and all that stuff, it reinstall itself, asking for the language (English (international), Deutsch (Germany) or English (EU)), and it starts installing again! I don't really know what to do, I uninstalled it and tried again, but it keeps happening!!

    Hi MortisWolf!

    Normally, after each patch installation, the launcher restarts...
    Look at the bottom right of the window, you can see the version of your game... After each launcher restart, the version changes if everything goes well...

    There are a lot of patches to install, and it takes a long time...

    Well, I had a hard time rereading some people's posts because their spelling is pathetic!

    To get to the point, I'm in the same boat; the updates are endless.
    I've been waiting for a few hours now, and it keeps restarting the update "patches" and gets stuck at 79%, sometimes 80%... And then everything shuts down, and it's the same story again!

    I've been waiting, but nothing... Absolutely nothing!

    The solution to the problem doesn't seem to have been found. So I can't even imagine if my computer can't handle the game; I'll quit online games altogether.

      Re-download the client from the internet even if it's the same version and reinstall it. It works for me, every time...

      No, not at all. It's about the space on your hard drive; you need to have at least 80% available for the end of the update, which is roughly 3 gigabytes and some change.

    Indeed, the game is not compatible with all video card drivers. The game works well based on the details you provide, but your video card is not able to display the information it receives... Try updating your driver... otherwise, you're out of luck if you don't change your video card.

      Hi Proscop, maybe your PC lacks power, but then you need to check your PC's configuration.

      Basically, your PC is BLINDING =) you downloaded way too much software or your PC is way too weak. I highly recommend buying an external hard drive for about 50 euros and 4 RAM sticks, it will help you a lot =)

      I have the same problem ^^ and I have Windows XP and I have WoW and Aion and both work perfectly on the PC while Runes of Magic doesn't launch like him.

      Hello, I had the same problem before. It either comes from your post or your screen being too small, and if you change it, it should normally work. Or it's a major bug with the PC.

      Regarding the patches, it is quite normal to have the patch download completed while the installation progress bar shows only 80%.

      Indeed, the launcher installs the updates as it downloads them: once the download is finished, it finalizes the installation and then reboots to start the installation of a new patch.

      It's quite long, but it's normal if the version (written in the bottom right of the launcher) changes with each reboot.

    oki thanks, but I have another annoying problem:

    When the patch updates were made, I happily ran the game but after 10 seconds of a black screen, with the Runes of Magic pointer and the game's sound track, it says

    We established an error report that you can send to us. This report form is security and anonymous.

    So that's a disaster, right! x.O

    Can someone help me?

      Go to My Computer if you're on Windows XP or Computer if you're on Vista =) then type "rune of magic" in the search bar and an application will appear =) Romruneofmagic something like that, you click on it and it starts the game installation on your PC, then you just have to install the updates, WHICH TAKES FOREVER :'( ! And then you can play =)

      lvl 70 max since the 3.0.9 update
      basically, expect a solid year to reach the high level
      the first 10 levels are fairly quick, then there are debt points if you die, which slows down your progress.

    Hello, just for your information, if I'm not mistaken, it takes 10 hours for the game to be fully finished. The best way to download the game securely and with confidence, if you want to play quickly, is to go to the Rune of Magic website
    and then go to downloads, and there you will click on download browser client or something like that
    then you click and you will find version 1, the first one is about 4.6 GB
    and the other is around 8.5 GB
    you take the 8.5 GB version and go to download, and then it will start the download for you. Once the first one is done, just let the secondary one finish, and once it says "launch the game," there you go
