convert DivX to DVD (or VCD, SVCD) ? Solved

Question

Hello, can someone help me figure out how to convert files to be able to read on a standard DVD player???
I'm using Super CD Creator but I don't understand anything... I have over 1 hour and 30 minutes of film and it creates a VOB file (?) of 2 minutes...
If you could explain it to me or recommend a simpler program...

first of all, a little punctuation doesn't hurt!
Then, yes, it's possible to convert with Nero Vision Express, but not with the other software you mentioned.
To buy Nero Vision Express, go to the Nero website and download a trial version, try it out, and if you like it, you can purchase it (everything about purchasing is stated in the trial version).

The best is still VSO's software! (DivX to DVD) But to burn to DVD afterwards, it burns the video TS file and adds an audio TS folder with nothing in it!

Hi,  I need to burn a DivX 2 CD to DVD because I'm not sure if the person has a DivX player. To make things trickier, I don't have a DVD burner on my machine, but I can transfer it to my portable HDD on a PC that has a DVD burner.  What software could help me convert a DivX 2 CD into a DVD format? I’m not sure if I can once the DVD is generated just copy-paste the audio_vts & video_vts folders (or a name like that) onto a hard drive and then burn them as if I were making a DVD compilation? Hello everyone!  I'm happy to see that I'm not the only one swimming in the murky waters of the computer world!!  I need to convert a movie to put it on a DVD and play it on a regular DVD player. So, I downloaded DvxToDvd and put my movie on a DVD. Everything works— the sound, the image, it's great, except that every 10 seconds or so, a message (big on the TV screen) appears saying that I need to purchase the original from the site (39.90 euros). So, since I'm only going to use it twice, I'd rather buy the real DVD from the store!!  So my question is whether there is another software to do the same thing and free, if possible! Maybe the DVD is protected? In that case, you won't get anywhere with any software, let's say legal... If it's already ripped and on your HDD and you're having trouble with Super, try Quick Media Converter instead.. it uses the same technology and is less complicated, which will probably do the trick for you..
