R4 ds not detected

Hello and Happy New Year,

My daughter has an R4 Revolution card that works very well on her cousins' DS, but not on hers.
She inserts her card, turns on her DS, and then sees the message NO DS CARD IS INSERTED
Can you please help her?

    Hi, so I've been having this issue for a little while now and apparently it's a defect with the R4????
    The only thing to do is when you insert your R4 into the DS, put a little piece of folded paper (so that it makes 3 or 4 millimeters) and insert both at the same time.
    The thing is that over time the connections of the R4 bend on their own (bad quality???) so the paper will push the R4 towards the connections of the DS.
    And as long as it doesn't work, it's either too much paper or not enough!

    A R4 is a DS cartridge format card that is "legal" to purchase, and you can put cracked DS games on it by downloading them, which is "TOTALLY ILLEGAL"
    but everyone sees things their own way^^

    Ahhhh okay! Otherwise, there are "ready-made" cartridges with more than 50 games in them.
